* Removed random honk sound when driving too fast
* Reduced ferry and train loading screen sounds
* Reduced message popup sound (the one that pops up for engine malfunction and trailer parking)
* Reduced yawning sounds (fatigue simulation only)
— Features of this mod —
+ Increased volume for interior stick sounds (e.g. releasing parking brake, blinker stick lever)
+ Realistic interior and exterior tire sounds when driving at high speed
+ Key chain swing sound when on bumpy roads or when hitting a small obstacle
+ Wind will sound slightly faster from cabin when you drive at a high speed
+ If caught driving too fast, a police siren will be triggered so you (maybe) have to pull over to stop the noise
+ Reduced certain UI sounds

* Drive Safely for pitch, reverbation and sound edits, some sound samples and compiling mod

Well, I’m afraid I won’t be able to enjoy this mod, as this new version crashes my game at launch as well as the previous version… :((
If it crashed, there should be an error in the game log file. Please post that and I should be able to find what’s causing it.
If there is an error I don”t know how to find it… I’m not an expert, sorry…
It’s inside the folder in which you would find your mod folder.
I know where it is but I couldn’t find anything about it, but once again, I’m not an expert…What I know though, It’s the only mod that crashes my game at launch…
crash game for 1.20 at launch..
It’s working fine on 1.21 with a clean profile. You may have to update your game version. If you’re still getting a crash to desktop then there must be a conflict with other mods.

Sorry for the late reply. If your game crashes after removing this mod then you probably have another mod that is causing the crash. Also make sure your game is in version 1.21. Otherwise, try putting this mod in low priority and see if that helps.
If you still get crashes, post your game log and I’ll try to find out what’s causing the crash.

In the next version I’ll be changing the fast wind sound, maybe some edits to the asphalt and suspension sounds. Glad you appreciate it 🙂

I like this mod a lot, since the latest patch “wheel+trailer+axles sounds” is not up to date anymore, your mod ist very welcome. How could I increase the interieur volume of wheel noices (kriechbaum open pipe volvo sound kills the noices at all) to get a more balaced sound scape?

To increase the wheel noises, open the mod’s .scs file, open common_sound_int_data.sui inside the def folder.
Scroll down until you find the # Tire noises heading.
Edit the volume values in the volume parameter for .was0 to .was4 to your desired value.
