Meaning, install the reshade by selecting the euro truck simulator 2 executable. When u start the game from steam do you select the option to launch with directx (64bit) or the normal one. If you select the one with 64bit install it in win_x64 if not install it in win_x86.

Yes, right here: Step 2: Install it by selecting the eurotrucks2.exe from Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x64 or win_x86 depending on the game version you are playing and then select Direct3D 9 , it will ask you to download shaders and effects select no.
