In reply to Charlie. The only thing I know of is if you had copied the original numbers down then you could find the backup file and use it or try and redo the numbers that you changed on that file

I am trying to get this update but how do I know which version I have? I have Euro Truck Simulator 2 if that helps.

In reply to Charlie. not a lot of info given. if you saved the file in the save game location it only adds another save file to to the profile, and both will work. if you changed the profile numbers to something else it wont work because the numbering system is generated by the input info you name in the profile section at the start of that game

Hey guys, i found a workaround 1.3 patch and it works! no activation request! nothin 😀 only thing is i must sort out mods, cuz 1.3 dont support many of them, so for safety i disabled all mods, and will start from scratch!

In reply to james. What if I happened to rename the savefile just before I read this post? I hope there is a way to get my savegame back, I would quit ETS2 because there was soo much time in that savegame :(

i don’t want to ruin my game… i will stay in v1.2.5.1… in this patch there’s allot of possibilities that you can experiment many mods that you want… and that so called v1.3.1.. that’s make you #### out of your pants trying to fix your mod problems…. so that… i stay in v1.2.5.1
