1. In mod folder, open the .scs file
2. Go into def/vehicle/truck/
3. Open common_sound_int_data.sui
4. Reduce the values of the volume parameters for sound_noise_data .was0 to .was8

Sorry I do not know what you mean. Are you saying that the sounds from this mod are not playing when you’re using another truck sound mod?

If so, maybe the truck sound mod author did not include the common_sound files in their definitions. I can inspect the truck sound mod for you if you wish to solve the issue.

By the way, for your other concern, this mod does not change individual truck horns, only truck horns for AI Traffic trucks.
