All standalone.
Works on any maps.
Tested on version 1.19.x.
Compatible with all my packs.

Version 1.8.2 – adapted for patch 1.19.x.

    I have also noticed that none of the trucks are painted either like they normally are in your mods, they are just the standard SCS Colours, do you think that this may be causing the problem why they do not have trailers either?

    I am just now downloading this and have yet to install and try this update. I know the older packs were working just fine in 1.19x, though with 50,000 errors regarding bounding boxes and such. The only thing I can think of that would cause trucks to suddenly not pull trailers is if the new definition files are incorrect in the new formats (the ones that tell a truck, “Hey carry everything” or “Hey, just haul this stuff”.

      Okay verified partially. I DO have trucks hauling trailers, and i AM seeing painted truck traffic BUT . . .

      Not all of the trucks are set up properly. There are indeed a lot of bobtails (trucks without trailers – not sure what they call those in your countries). This was also confirmed by this error appearing a lot in the log:

      There may be a lot more, but those are just the ones that appeared during the 60 seconds or so I loaded in and sat. Again, I did see a couple of painted trucks drive by, so those are working. And i saw one truck with a trailer, but I am wondering if that was a default one and not one from this pack. . . . Wait, no I did see a painted truck with a trailer so I take that back.

      Also, my error log was plowed with hundreds upon hundreds of this:

      [traffic_trailer_type] Converting old trailer definition ‘traffic.trailer.fliegl_j13’ to type ‘traffic_trailer’. Please update to the new type.

      Where ‘traffic.trailer.fliegl_j13’ appears, almost every trailer from Jazzy appears there like that. This is from the trailers and traffic pack I currently have installed, which is not yet a 1.19 version, but may be contributing to why trucks are not getting proper trailers in the game. I am thinking that the painted truck I saw was pulling a default trailer instead? I should have paid more attention. Anyway, I hope this helps.

      FYI – I am NOT complaining. I exclusively use your packs and ONLY your packs in my game, and will continue to do so 🙂 I am just trying to help with information, so I hope this does help you as well as others 🙂

          I think it is the mods as far as trailers not appearing on all the trucks. And I know I was only on for a minute, but I did enter flycam and flew around the city I was in to see a lot of traffic – the streets were really crowded, but a LOT of trucks were without trailers. I only remember seeing one painted truck from Jazzy the entire time, so I am pretty sure it is indeed the packs.

          One major improvement from the previous version, though – no more bounding box issues. When i had the prior packs enabled, I had hundreds of bounding box errors. All of those are gone. Now we’re just down to the trailer definition issue, which I am convinced is the culprit here.

          In the link I gave, a couple of major points were made by the SCS team:

          “To allow future features and improvements, the type of the unit defining an AI trailer CHANGED FROM trailer TO traffic_trailer”

          It does not look like that was done yet to Jazzy’s packs, though this affects the trailers and cargo packs which Jazzy has not yet released for 1.19x I think.

          “Property attachable is now obsolete. It has been replaced by an array attribute attachable_trailer. The array contains unit names (as strings) of all trailer models which can be attached to the given vehicle.
          To allow all trailer models, add an empty string at the beginning of the array:
          attachable_trailer[]: “”

          THIS I think is the major culprit here – as the above line has to be in the proper files to make the truck go, “Oh, hey! I’m supposed to be pulling stuff”, and if the parameter is left JUST like above (the string having just quotes with no trailer defined) then the game says “Oh, hey, you can pull ANY trailer. Cool – here’s a boring glass trailer. Go cut off the player.”

          Without that line, though, the game pretty much thinks the trucks are not trucks, but just other AI vehicles.

          2. What are you talking about? All my updated packs FULLY comply with the ALL recommendations of SCS for patch 1.19. Everything working properly with absolutely clear log file.

            JUST DON’T USE MODS FOR VERSION 1.18 ON VERSION 1.19!!!!!

            One of those has to be version 1.18 then. Which one is it? because I just downloaded all of these today and I am getting these errors. I have no other AI mods installed as I only use yours. I am unsure why your log is clear and mine isn’t, but it’s happening somehow.

            I’m not trying to complain here. I was honestly trying to help, but since you got offended somehow I’ll just let it rest here and find an alternative then.

          4. Your problems are due to Trailers and Cargo Pack v3.4. He is not compatible with 1.19. Tomorrow I’ll update all my trailer packs.

  10. Sorry to point out that the problem outlined by Faelandaea and Female Trucker above still exists. Painted truck traffic do not have trailers attached.
    I have all the updated Jazzycat packs including Trailers and Cargo Pack.v3.4.1, which was released today, and the errors still appear:-

    Perhaps I have messed up the load order in some way, this is my order in the new Mod Activation screen :-

    Trailers and Cargo Eng (Lowest Priority -loading first)
    Trailers and Cargo 1
    Trailers and Cargo 2
    Railway + Eng
    Military + Eng
    Truck Traffic
    AI Traffic
    Painted Truck (Highest Priority – loading last)

    If anyone can comment on load order I’d appreciate it.

    I admire the work done by Jazzycat, as ETS 2 is a poorer game without these mods – but I may have to disable them to make the game playable.

    Hopefully an \update of the update\ will solve the issues.

    1. Check your other mods and remove all trailer_traffic_storage.sii files.

  12. Hi jazzycat, i has a big report to you because when i test your mod with my mod (Multiple Al Traffic 1.2 Thalken + Truck Jazzy + Ai Jazzy ) i saw ai traffic appear more than truck and if you use ai+truck+bus then truck never appear just has ai traffic and bus @@ pls fix in next version
