Pack provides improvements to common sounds in the game, making the sounds feel more immersive and real.<\/p>

\nReworked train sounds. Train horns when approaching will be more frequent.
\nDiscontinued rattle sound at high speeds.
\nReverted back to v14.3 retarder sound.
\nAsphalt\/tarmac tire noise lowered.
\nBalanced rumble stripe sound for both lower and higher speeds.
\nOptimized some def and sound files.
\nCleaned quality of external suspension sound.
\nCleaned quality of helicopter and biplane sounds.
\nReworked AI traffic truck sounds -> sounds in the set more accurate to European AI traffic trucks. [ETS2 edition]<\/p>

As of v15, the def file will only be necessary to install\/replace once.
\nWhen downloading future updates of this pack, you do not have to update the original def file.<\/p>

Also as of v15, version numbers in file name are no longer used. This is to give convenience\/efficiency when replacing
\nthe base file in mod folder. Simply put the base file in the mod folder, replace old version, and play!<\/p>

FEATURES
\n ========
\n1 – Tires: enhanced asphalt tire sounds on normal roads and gravel sounds on dirt roads<\/p>

2 – Suspension: enhanced suspension sounds to include sounds of cabin squeaking, key swinging and movement of the cabin.<\/p>

3 – “Late music”: replaced with Nokia phone ringtone sound (volume of this sound depends on Music volume in Audio settings in-game).<\/p>

4 – “Bing bong” chime for train loading screen sound and ferry loading screen sound.<\/p>

5 – Reworked garage door sound and corrected its volume to a lower level.
\n6 – Reduced volume of adviser message sound.
\n7 – Reduced volume of yawn slightly for fatigue simulation.<\/p>

8 – Classic\/historic ding sound for while the fuel is pumping (circa 1960s to 1970s). The number of dings give you an idea on how much you refueled.
\n9 – Real fuel pump, fuel lid sounds, door close, seat belt click and key insertion sound effect for after refueling to a full tank.<\/p>

10 – Mix of stock amplified gear grinding sounds and new gear grinding sounds. Can be heard when you have damaged the transmission and\/or gearbox.<\/p>

11 – Real stick\/switch\/button sounds for: parking brake, hazard light, blinker \/ indicator \/ turn signal, light switch.<\/p>

12 – Retarder sound changed to real retarder sound.<\/p>

13 – Lift axle sound now includes button press sound effect in interior.<\/p>

14 – Real sound effect for trailer coupling. Also includes the sound of the trailer brakes connecting straight after the fifth wheel coupling.<\/p>

15 – Driver Alert Support system sound installed on all trucks (ETS2 exclusive feature).<\/p>

16 – AI traffic vehicles given new horn sounds. Depending on the patience of the driver, a short or long honk may be used.
\n17 – AI traffic trucks\/buses given more variations of sounds (turbo, engines, gear changes).<\/p>

18 – Motorcycles from Jazzycat’s AI traffic pack given proper motorcycle engine sounds.
\n19 – Motorcycles will rev engine instead of using car horn when blocked.
\n20 – AI cars from Jazzycat’s pack that tow trailers will not use semi-truck sounds, instead they will use car sounds.<\/p>

21 – You can hear the slight sound of vehicles overtaking you or passing by you in the oncoming lane.<\/p>

22 – At high speeds, wind will sound slightly faster and the cabin will have subtle rattling.<\/p>

23 – Pattering of rain on windshield audible in the cabin during heavy rain.<\/p>

24 – Prefab (e.g. company and delivery points) soundscape in American Truck Simulator enhanced (ATS exclusive feature).<\/p>

25 – Louder volume and reworked audio for biplanes, trains (included train horns), helicopters, cable cars and Boeing planes.<\/p>

COMPATIBILITY
\n ============
\nCompatible for and tested on ETS2 version 1.23.3 + ATS version 1.1.1.
\nForwards compatible with ATS version 1.2.
\nNo errors in game log. Fully stable mod.<\/p>

Compatible with all trucks including mod trucks.
\nDoes not replace individual truck sounds, so can be used with an unlimited amount of truck sound mods of your choice.<\/p>

Compatible with all maps.<\/p>

Supports compatibility with Realistic Weather Sound 1.7.5 (provides realistic thunder and exterior rain sounds).
\nBoth mods can be enabled at the same time. Sound Fixes Pack must have higher priority.<\/p>

SET TIRE AND WIND VOLUME
\n ========================
\nWind and tire noise too loud? No problem. You can configure its volume using these developer commands. Syntax is as follows:<\/p>

s_air_noise [value from 0.0 to 1.0] (default is 1)
\ns_wheel_noise [value from 0.0 to 1.0] (default is 1)<\/p>

INSTALLATION
\n ============
\nIn most cases, mod requires highest priority in Mod Manager, above map mods, environmental mods and AI traffic mods.
\nIf other mods are placed in higher priority than this mod, correct operation of pack not guaranteed and results may vary.<\/strong>
\nCheck the loading order image for more details.<\/p>
