DESCRIPTION
\n============<\/p>

Pack provides improvements to common sounds in the game, making them
\nfeel more immersive and real.
\nThe goal of the mod is to make the game’s sounds feel like real life!<\/p>

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
\n=======================<\/p>

Requires higher priority than map mods (e.g. ProMods, RusMap, etc.)
\nand AI traffic mods (e.g. Jazzycat’s traffic packs)!<\/p>

FEATURE LIST
\n============<\/p>

## 1. Tire \/ Tyre sounds<\/p>

* Real interior + exterior tire sounds. Tires will resonate in the cab
\ndepending on how fast you are accelerating and what speed you are in,
\ngiving a feel for your sense of speed.
\n* Heavier gravel sounds on dirt\/gravel roads.<\/p>

## 2. Suspension sounds<\/p>

* Light and medium impacts to suspension can trigger cabin squeaking
\nand movement sounds of the cabin.
\n* Hard impacts can trigger key swinging sounds.<\/p>

## 3. Gameplay \/ UI sounds<\/p>

* “Late music” replaced with Nokia phone ringtone sound (volume of
\nthis sound depends on Music volume in the in-game Audio settings).
\n* “Bing bong” chime for train and ferry loading screen sounds.
\n* Reduced volume of garage door sound, adviser message sound and
\nyawning sound.
\n* New quiet photo camera sound effect for screenshots.<\/p>

## Fuel \/ Gas station sounds<\/p>

* Retro\/historic ding sound for while the fuel is pumping (circa 1960s
\nto 1970s). The number of dings can help give you an idea on how much
\nyou refueled…
\n* Real fuel pump, fuel lid, door close, seat belt click and key
\ninsertion sound effects for after refueling to a full tank.<\/p>

## Interior sounds<\/p>

* Real stick\/switch\/button sounds for: parking brake, hazard light,
\nwiper stick, light switch and blinker \/ indicator \/ turn signal.
\n* Retarder sound changed to real retarder sound.
\n* Real rumblestrip sound.
\n* Lane-keeping (Driver Alert Support) alert sound if you drive on to
\nthe grass too fast (as per EU legal regulations). [ETS2 edition]
\n* Lift axle sound now includes button press sound effect.
\n* Pattering of rain on windshield audible in the cabin during heavy
\nrain.
\n* At high speeds, wind will sound slightly faster.
\n* Mix of default amplified gear grinding sounds and new gear grinding
\nsounds. Can be heard when you have damaged the transmission and\/or
\ngearbox.<\/p>

## Trailer sounds<\/p>

* Real sound effects for trailer coupling + uncoupling.
\n* Included air brake hose deattachment sound when uncoupling.<\/p>

## AI Traffic sounds<\/p>

* More refined generic AI traffic car sounds. Less buzz noise and more
\ntire sounds and quiet engine sounds.
\n* AI traffic vehicles given new horn sounds. Depending on the patience
\nof the driver, a short or long honk may be used.
\n* AI traffic trucks\/buses given more variations of sounds (turbo,
\nengines, gear changes).
\n* Variety of engine sounds for several vehicles (e.g. motorbike sounds
\nfor motorbikes) in various AI Traffic mods and in stock trucks from
\nthe original game.
\n* You can hear the slight sound of vehicles overtaking you or passing
\nby you in the oncoming lane.<\/p>

## Mover sounds<\/p>

* Louder volume and reworked audio for a vast amount of moving objects
\nincluding biplanes, trains (included train horns) etc.
\n* Enabled sound for a vast amount of movers that don’t originally come
\nwith sound (e.g. F22 jet fighters, ocean waves, tugboats, hot air
\nballoons, you name it!).<\/p>

## Location based ambience<\/p>

* Prefab (i.e. company and delivery point) soundscape enhanced for
\nAmerican Truck Simulator (includes both daytime and nighttime
\nambience).
\n* Tunnel sounds for some large tunnels. [ETS2 edition]
\n* Suitable volumes and sounds of environmental ambience for various
\nmap mods.
\n* Some suitable sounds included for various companies and delivery
\npoints.<\/p>

COMPATIBILITY
\n==============<\/p>

* ETS2 1.25.3 and 1.26.x + ATS 1.4.x. and ATS 1.5.x. No errors in game
\nlog. Must have high priority in Mod Manager.
\n* Compatible with all trucks, including truck mods.
\n* Does not replace individual truck sounds, so can be used with an
\nunlimited amount of truck sound mods of your choice.
\n* Compatible with all maps.
\n* Supports compatibility with Realistic Weather Sound 1.7.7 (provides
\nrealistic thunder + exterior rain sounds). Both mods can be enabled at
\nthe same time. Check the load order image included for more details.
\n* If using any of Grimes’ seasonal mods, place the seasonal mod with
\nhigher priority than the Sound Fixes Pack for a more accurate seasonal
\nexperience.
\n* If using winter mods, please enable Frosty Winter Weather Sound
\naddon from Options folder of Sound Fixes Pack for winter sounds.<\/p>

SET TIRE AND WIND VOLUME
\n=========================<\/p>

Wind or tire noise too loud? No problem. You can configure its volume
\nusing these developer commands. Syntax is as follows:<\/p>

s_air_noise [value from 0.0 to 1.0] (default is 1)
\ns_wheel_noise [value from 0.0 to 1.0] (default is 1)<\/p>
