📙 Introduction

TruckNav is a FREE and open-source, low-latency second-screen GPS companion for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. I built this to allow for full immersion by turning off the in-game HUD and using a real-world style navigation unit on a phone, tablet, or secondary monitor.<\/p>

🔑 Key Features in v0.4.0

\n✅ Overhauled Routing Engine: The core routing engine has been completely rebuilt. Not only does it now feature true turn-by-turn guidance, but the routing logic itself is significantly better generating highly accurate, correct paths everywhere on the map that now properly respect one-lane roads.<\/p>

✅ Mod Compatibility: Added full navigation support for “Real Companies” mods across both ATS and ETS2.<\/p>

✅ Smarter Job Routing & Map Polish: Navigating to external jobs will now intelligently route you directly to the source company pickup location. I’ve also deeply optimized the global road network for cleaner visual lines.<\/p>

✅ Custom Telemetry & UI Polish: Implemented a brand-new custom telemetry system, added a desktop system tray menu, and ensured your manually entered IP addresses now successfully save upon exit.<\/p>

📥 Installation
\nLaunch the TruckNav Desktop app to see your IP address and for the telemetry to launch.
\nOpen the app on your phone and enter that IP.
\nDrive!<\/p>
