\n HOW TO INSTALL

1. Close the game.<\/p>

2. Go into the profiles folder and copy ONE of the .scs
\n files to:<\/p>

DocumentsEuro Truck Simulator 2mod<\/p>

3. Start the game, open the Mod Manager, enable it.<\/p>

IMPORTANT: only ONE at a time. If you enable two, they both
\n edit the same game files and fight each other. What you end
\n up with depends on mod load order, and it is not what you
\n want.<\/p>

1 – Balanced (mid-range PC)
\n GTX 1060 \/ RX 580 and up.<\/p>

HEADS UP: this profile gives you LESS FPS than v1.1 did.
\n It is built for realism, not performance – it adds a
\n traffic peak at 6:30 and 16:30 that the base game does
\n not have. If you came here for more FPS, use profile 2.<\/p>

2 – Low-End (weak PC) <– recommended
\n GTX 1050 \/ RX 560 \/ older i5 \/ small all-in-one PC.
\n Against v1.1: 68% less grass drawn and 16% less traffic
\n across the day.<\/p>

3 – Steam Deck (ultra low)
\n Steam Deck, ROG Ally, integrated graphics, mini PC.
\n Against v1.1: 92% less grass and 35% less traffic.
\n Very aggressive. On a normal desktop it cuts more than
\n you need.<\/p>

A mod can only touch the game's def files. On a weak PC the
\n real framerate lives in shadow resolution, mirrors and level
\n of detail – and those sit in config.cfg, where no mod can
\n reach.<\/p>

The tool in this folder can:<\/p>

It backs up your settings before touching anything, shows you
\n exactly what it will change, and lets you undo it whenever you
\n want. Read config-tunerREADME.txt.<\/p>

It is OPTIONAL and separate from the mod. Use the mod alone,
\n the tool alone, or both.<\/p>

\n MEASURING FPS PROPERLY
\n———————————————————–<\/p>

Traffic changes a lot depending on the in-game clock. If you
\n measure at different times of day the number means nothing.<\/p>

Keep all three the same across both runs:<\/p>

Place ….. same spot, ideally a big city (Berlin, Milan)
\n Time …… 16:30 – that is the peak, the worst case
\n Weather … clear in both<\/p>

Watch your MINIMUM fps, not the average. The stutter when you
\n drive into a city is exactly what this mod fixes.<\/p>
