possible that I could not see the snow with no mod, even earlier? I have v.1.7.0 and map v.1.4.x In the mod folder I only have the map. Maybe we’re in the summer with 35 ° in the sun and the snow disappears immediately?? …. But at least these are tested file.scs first to be included in the link??
Your reference to fashions for version 1.2.5.1 I played with it up to an output of a patch 1.6 further fashions does not work and on 1.7.0s I tried – does not work
I will put in my 2 cents about this weather mod. The surfaces you drive on are the most real to date, and the slippery surfaces are just about perfect. Carrying heavy loads over 60 Km is just to hazzardous to attempt and will cause an accident or put you in the ditch with no ability to counter steer out of it. Thank you for creating the best snowy roads for ETS2 and the scenery view of the trees is very good. If you add in the mod “Improved Weather v08” it even get more real. I,ve tested all the weather mods and this one is scored 10 out of 10 in my book. Thanks again.
That is unfortunate about the resistance. Another post about it I have seen suggests that traction levels and resistance in the game are locked together and inseparable.

ok, then i think that answer is no.
It works no problem for me with v1.7 and Promods, as well as several other mods.
AI traffic is moving like there is no snow, you the only one under it.

I’m glad to see the winter mod still evolving. Is the extreme movement resistance still a problem?
I would just download and see for myself but I am on limited bandwidth and have to pick and choose carefully what I download.
Yes 🙁 sadly there is still much resistance while moving. But it is better overall than 2.0 🙂
