I see modding as a business. Because I spend a lot of hours while working on mods. That’s why I think I deserve some revenue in return for my efforts.
Firstly, my site is being used worldwide. Therefore, my website must be fast. Fast site means more expensive web hosting.
Hosting services may be cheap in your country, but the currency of the country I live in is losing its value against the USD/EURO. That’s why the hosting services here are quite expensive.
Also, Paypal stopped operations in my country(Turkey). So I can’t get any donations with Paypal.
In this case the only way for me is placing ads on my site.
You don’t lose anything by disabling Adblock, but I lose.
Frkn64 is right. I love modders who own the website. Because they care about the their works. They don’t make ordinary mods. They make good quality and very important mods. It’s my duty to support. I won’t have any mods if I don’t support. It’s that simple. It is even better if modders upload their mods only on their websites. This will both increase the modders website visitors and provide a safe space for us. I hate classic mod upload sites.

You should know, that on this Site are the most of Thieves from other Sites and I´m critical against this Sites.
Since 2010 I´m handicapped at Home.
I will not start a Discussion like Daniel, but I know about the Problems. We had before ETS2 about 10 Years a Site for Trainz.
Our Sites also visited international and now I know more Details about your Problem and the Reason for Popup´s.
I use your Mods and I think, I will disable only for your Mods.

Und niemand sagt etwas gegen die Mods, ich finde sie auch sehr gut. Eine Ausnahme, wenn man soviel Mist hier sieht, der gebracht wird. Ich selber nutze seine Mods, aber als erstes vom Workshop.
