P.S. The 1.26 was compatible well enough, but now I’ve replaced with the latest 1.27.1.1 version of the game, so that changed a lot, also Promods made their real-like police cars specifically built and programed for the latest game parameters, which SCS has changed a lot.
I’m asking you, could you adapt this V5 for ETS2 1.27 as well ?

Any chance for this being compatible with latest 1.26 version of the game ? Even if the mods manager says it so, it doesn’t mean anything when tested.

Dear Cyrus would you please teach me how to reduce spawn in ROC map or other maps containing countries not listed in your def file?
I added taiwan folder in the list of countries and copy/pasted another file traffic.europolice_v5.sii with low spawn and I still have too many police cars on ROC, about half of the vehicles are police cars :))

Have a question, this mod is only 16 Mb, and suppose to have many police cars with sound and lights, while a slightly different mod of Skleroza with sound but no lights is more then 500 Mb. do I miss something here?
Actually I was driving for from Brussels to Amsterdam and did not see (or hear) any police car except for those from Jazzycat Ai traffic mod. is perhaps this mod incompatible with some other mods? and how is possible to be so small size?

oh, it’s highly compressed, as fare as I know the game cannot read compressed files only archived as Store. I will give another try repacked
The game read compressed files perfectly.
Frequency are 0.5. If you install another traffic mods this will be reduced. And….In real life you can spend several days without seeing a police car, right?
The mod works ok. You can try to modify the spawn frequency on files inside “def/country” and the country you driving.

The size is because there are really only one vehicle model (Ducato) with 38-39 different skins, that is what is changing and it is compressed with standard compression.
thanks for your reply, much appreciated. indeed I discovered that when extracting the content, it became very large. I wish I can squeezed back to 16 Mb! I modified to spawn to 1 (instead of 0.5) and indeed now it appears well enough in European countries and a bit too much in R.o.C and Egypt, the 2 non-EU maps I have been driving yesterday.
My 2 years old son loves the Police (nino-nino) cars mostly for the sound and lights of course.
technical question if I may ask please, how you managed to compress the files in 16 mb and to archive using the “store” ? store being the only method accepted by the game . thanks again
