Very nice mod. Adds a ton of new engines and makes the game more interesting now. Now Volvo and Scania are not the top dogs of the game. All trucks now have powerful engines choices. The only issue I have is with the pricing of some of the engines. For example there are now 800hp – 1000 hp engines, but some of them cost less than a 600 hp Cummings engine. It doesn’t change the sound of the engines, so there’s no incentive to buy it. But a great mod nonetheless, I’d say it’s probably a must-have mod!
Is it true, that the smaller engine uses less fuel a long journey?
Engine with smaller torque need to drive more throttle to reach the desired speed, especially up hills.
– The real full trailer combination driver –
This replaces original engines.
You start new game with 370 hp engine (Volvo).
Actually, this mod is broken. The Volvo dealership in London is bugged – no trucks appear and all options are grayed out. Only Volvo dealership I have discovered so I was unable to verify if it’s all Volvo dealerships or just that one.
2 questions: Why did you make the Caterpillar engines only available to the Scania R-series and not the Streamline? Is there realism to that?
Also, why are there two .scs files in the download? One of them has “zzzzz” in the file name.
Thanks!
Sounds silly but how do i install these?
Drop them into \euro truck simulator 2\mods folder in your mydocuments folder.
I think this is the latest version with a fix, like it says in description “… v 1.05 + Fix “
