Nobody should pay for mods, any paid for mods are likely just to rip you off. All modders give their work for free which I think is fantastic for the community in general. Keys and serial numbers for mods do not exist, occasionally a modder will have pass worded part or all of the mod to prevent it being opened, if this is the case then the modder may have stated this in the description. Stay clear of any mods that require payment of any type.

Hi! I have a problem. I have installed a SCS Mod into ETS 2 Mod folder. I turn on the game and click drive. But when I get near to the mod/truck the game automatically freezes and comes up with “Game is not responding” PLEASE HELP AS QUICK AS YOU CAN!!!!!!

there is an error with the mod, or the mod you have added doesnt work in particular with another mod. when installing mods add only one at a time play the game a bit make sure it works then add then next etc. etc. not all work or co-work with others

I wish mods had a more difinitive description for downloaders. all i mostly ever get is the title of the mod and a dl link…. nothing more. Please for all the mod creators out there, even a simple 2 line description would be more than sufficient.

when you download a mod it will usually be in a zipped folder… so what you do is in your documents where ets 2 installed open its folder… inside that folder there is another folder called mod. now in the zip file when you go to extract it should have a file with .scs at the end… you extract this file to the ets 2 mod folder. when you are done, boot the game up to your profile screen but before you click continue, click edit. you will see a list of the mods that are inside of the ets 2 mod folder. select which ones you want to use and then start the game
