This mod changes default exterior and interior sounds in all ETS 2
trucks. It changes turbo sound, retarder, gear change, air brake and
horn sounds in Scania, Volvo, MAN, DAF, Renault, Iveco and Mercedes
trucks. Also, it adds some interior wind noise over 65 kph. All
interior sounds are now louder, from 8 to 12 db.
This is 2nd version of this sound mod. It is tested on all trucks in
game and it works on 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 version of the game.
Before installation remove all similar sound mods and if this mod
doesn’t apply immediately restart the game.

The scania sound. It’s like a leaky air break sound all of the time! there’s no roar sound.
Turn mod off/on and restart the game, its a known bug for sound mods
I really like this mod, good job Rbisierra! I have encountered a problem though (maybe).
I get this error (red)in the log: [snd] Failed to bind, file not found! (path to the daf: /sound/daf something). Didn’t cause a crash or anything so far, just thought you should know.

I don’t understand why did you implement that air being released sound whenever you change gears upshift or downshift. It’s annoying, otherwise the engines sound well.
Because i like it. If you dont like it just open scs file and delete files int_air_gear1/2 and air_gear1/2 or replace it with one that you prefer more.
Yes you do need to disable all sound mods that you have in your game.
But if that doesnt help, you “disable all” mods and restart the game, and then enable the ones you want…

Disable all other sound mods, activate this mod in game then rastert the game, it should work fine.

I really liked the sounds for Volvo. Nice ‘ooomph’ at low RPMs, and the sound fit seamlessly, no matter what the RPM. Didn’t sound artificial at all, like other sounds tend to.
