   No it is NOT crazy! This is a solution to a lot of problems eith trucks won’t work in some upgrades.

   I shall explane:

   You have a truck in 1.2.5 and You will use it in 1.8.2.x than You make a savegame in 1.2.5 and keep it on Your harddisk at a sve place, when Yo have to re-install You know where Your savegame is and place it back in Your profiles map after You installe 1.2.5.1 after that You upgrade to the level You want and the truck is working perfectly!
