This modification consists in two mods that can be used together or separately (at the discretion of the user).
“Was_Driver_Names_MOD.scs”: Changes all the names of the drivers in the game. The 226 names used are common versions of the English and European. This MOD is just for those using the original version pt_br (Portuguese in Brazil) on Steam, Download SCS or Media physics that supports the language. Other versions “can” suffer incompatibility by code error.
“Was_Drivers_MOD.scs”: Modifies all 226 images of existing drivers in the game (no alpha layer Images).
Note: The file can be modified (if the user is aware and just want to change the names already pre-defined). Just give the credits to the first original author. Tested Versions: 1.7.1 Until 1.18.X!

One quick question, also . . . how did you access the locale directory? I found the scs file named “locale” in my install directory, but scs_extractor will not open it. Did you use a different program? I had been wanting to do a mod like this for another project for a long time and yours is the first ever successful attempt I have seen at renaming drivers.
In profile when enabled I see the new images but on existing profile it doesnt change it, it remains the old profile picture.
Does this require new profile to see those images and able to use them or is this only for hired drivers?
If I understand your question correctly, you are looking at where you select a profile, right? Mods do not work there.
I made my own mod which changes faces also. I see my own face while logged into my profile and playing the game/driving, but at the main menu where you select a profile, it always uses the default ETS2 faces, so you will never see a modded face profile there. The only time that changes is if you connect to World of Trucks, and then it changes to your WoT avatar.
To be honest, this is the main motivating factor for me connecting to WoT on my profiles, because the face I used for my own – after the DLC hit – the guy they put there is one creepy looking dude and I couldn’t stand his face greeting me every time I loaded the game LOL.
