Recommended: physics_stability_fix plugin (optional)
At high speeds the car can sometimes kick sideways. This is a bug in the game’s physics that a mod can’t fix. The small physics_stability_fix plugin makes the R8 noticeably more stable at top speed.

gr8 mod, I love how you guys focused on optimising the mod too, most of the car mods are very unoptimised, but in this case, it was smooth no issues. Even the beamer mod u guys released was optimised for me despite the size. Thanks for the mod.
the car is gr8, I have no issues with ambient lights cus I don’t really need thm, but like arda mentioned those rpm issues if fixed will better. I also noticed a thing, where the car is slowing down on its own, whenever I release the throttle , despite not using any brakes or engine braking.
despite tht this is a solid 9/10 for me gr8 work guys
The vehicle turned out really well; the modeling and driving feel are excellent. However, the car tends to nose-dive during panic or normal braking, sometimes sliding or scraping its underbody; stiffening the suspension a bit could resolve this issue. The interior shading could be made more realistic; the cabin gets too bright during the day, which kills the sense of realism. It would be a subtle yet realistic touch if patterned shadows from streetlights passed over the dashboard at night—just like in real life—and if similar shaped shadows appeared inside when the sun hits during the day. The interior ambient lighting is very inadequate; there is only white footwell lighting. It would be better if the car had ambient lighting like the real-world version—for instance, having ambient lighting on the doors and the “quattro” badge on the dashboard would be fantastic. The car reaches its top speed in 6th gear, but psychologically, one feels the urge to shift into 7th; I think the acceleration should extend through to the 7th gear. Also, when starting from a standstill in first gear, the engine instantly shoots up to 7,000 RPM and launches forward before dropping back to the normal rev range; fixing this would be great. The rev limiter could kick in at 8,500 RPM instead of 8,000, and a “popcorn” exhaust effect could be added. Additionally, hearing that characteristic, aggressive intake roar of a naturally aspirated engine inside the cabin would positively enhance the experience during aggressive driving. These were the flaws I noticed, but otherwise, the vehicle is excellent overall.
Hi Arda, please excuse my late reply! Thank you very much for your very detailed feedback! We will carefully review your comment and do our best to improve the R8 in this regard. These are our first car mods, so we’d love to hear your feedback so we can improve the cars accordingly.
Thank you, and cheers!
