Adjust suspension softness and stiffness

How do I adjust the suspension softness and stiffness, when I use the midlft axle instead just being a support it works as a pivot and lifts the front axle up so I can no longer steer.

I do have some RL experience with Heavy Haulers since my uncle drives a HH KW.

And from what I can tell is the midlift suspension is not soft enough or does not compress enough for true heavy loads.
