Cannot edit config.cfg. Resets back to default on game load.

Hi, I’m trying to enable console in ets 2. I changed “uset g_developer” and “uset g_console” to “1” and saved the file. But when i open the game config file resets to default automatically. I tried changing config file i profiles but still not working.

Any help?
