Hi, I present to you the first published version of my mod “Special Vehicles traffic”

He adds fire brigade and ambulances from random events to the road traffic.

This is a very early version (WIP) For now, vehicles appear without “blue lights”, because I can not do it (if someone can “mine” vehicles with blue lights flashing, I will be very grateful for help)

In the near future (if someone creates models with flashing lights) I will create new skins for vehicles, e.g. random Operating numbers, Military fire service, air fire brigade, etc.

Have fun testing, I am waiting for your suggestions and help ?

Cześć, przedstawiam wam pierwszą opublikowaną wersję mojego mod “Special Vehicles traffic”

Dodaje on do ruchu drogowego Straż pożarną oraz karetki z losowych zdarzeń.

Jest to bardzo wczesna wersja (WIP) Jak na razie pojazdy pojawiają się bez “niebieskich świateł”, ponieważ nie umiem tego zrobić (jeśli ktoś potrafi “wydobyć” pojazdy z mrygającymi niebieskimi światłami, będę bardzo wdzięczny za pomoc..

W najbliższym czasie (jeśli ktoś stworzy modele z flashing światłami) stworzę nowe skiny na pojazdy np. losowe Numery operacyjne, Wojskowa staż pożarna, lotnicza straż pożarna,,, itp.

Miłego testowania, czekam na wasze sugestie i pomoc ?

    Could you also please make some Road Service Vehicles with amber Lightbar witch drives along the Roads like in RL the amber Vehicles on the Highways?
    That i´m missing mostly on ETS2.

    Hi Muszek. Great mod! Congratulations! To answer your question, you CAN make lights to be visible in game. I supose your mod have only def file (I won’t download it, because I already made it for myself since SCS added those road events; to avoid any copyright troubles, I make mods only for myself, but I’ll be glad to help you with this). Personally, I renamed all my emergency def files, to avoid any game conflict in the future.;)
    So, there are two ways to have lights in game on emergency vehicles.

    FIRST WAY, easy and the fastest way, your mod should contain ONLY def files and also unit file. Here, at

    unit->hookup->vehicle_beacon.sii,

    at the FOLLOWING values:
    – beacon_vehicle: flare.vehicle.emergency.beacon_r
    – beacon_vehicle: flare.vehicle.emergency.beacon_b
    – flare_blink : flare.vehicle.emergency.beacon_b.blink_l
    – flare_blink : flare.vehicle.emergency.beacon_b.blink_r
    – flare_blink : flare.vehicle.emergency.beacon_r.blink_l
    – flare_blink : flare.vehicle.emergency.beacon_r.blink_r

    CHANGE value:

    light_type: police_hooter WITH light_type: beacon

    , and you’ll have lights enabled. 😉
    Personally I changed also the blink_pattern: “——–X-X-XXX—” with blink_pattern: “—-X-X—” (for instance), shorter time and cutted the: default_scale and scale_factor, but all these are only an option (you can change all those values after your own tastes). Unfortunately, this easy way will enable (ALWAYS!) also lights on police cars, but, this doesn’t bother me.

    SECOND WAY, “hard way” it’s to change the lights type in blender (with blender tools) to all emergency vehicles; change also drivers types, customise your .dds with desire ones etc, and like this you’ll have new customise AI emergency vehicles in traffic, with your desire type, skin and drivers (policemans and firetruckers). This will envolve a “little” work and time then first method, but worth it the effort, believe me! 😉

    At the end, a few TIPS:
    Also, EASY WAY, if you like, you can add in traffic CEMENT_MIXER, (same, only def files!). It’s nice to see also a cement mixer with animation in traffic. Same for: tourliner bus, tractor, harvester and trailers: opentop_coal, s_ki_solid_sand, truck_trans_scania, truck_trans_volvo etc (ONLY def files need it to be changed!).
    Anyway, It’s SCS work, but I don’t understand why they didn’t enabled all this features as the default?!… Also, with blender tools, you can add a few ATS vehicles in ETS2 traffic (limo, school bus, icecream car, electric car service and taxi). ;)…

    TIPS ONLY FOR YOUR PERSONAL USE (as a lawyer, to avoid any copyright infringement, I recomend you NEVER share modified or not mods without authors permissions!):
    I sugest you to add in YOUR PERSONAL traffic also a police motorcycle (the great mod was made along time ago by alkonavt96:

    ONLY for your personal use, you can modify his police motorcycle, by add in blender police_beacon lights (they will activate only on breaking traffic rules) or simple beacon red/blue light mixed with blinking red-blue lights (those will be permanent). Personally I have police_beacon light on beacon, and blinking red and blue ligts on sides and front. Also you can change the police driver skin with different countries police types.;)

    The reason to have motorcycles in traffic is their speed and, like in real life, they’re very often in blind spots, so we need to drive more carefully.

    Main reason to have double trailers in traffic: we need to pay more attention when we overtake them. 😉

      sunnoco !! big thanks !!! so far I have changed the first way, because I have some problems with the blender … I already have a vehicle with new textures, but I do not know how to export it … because when I click “pack mod” the entire “base” file extracts to me what I lose what I should leave and what should I transfer to my module … I have stayed 2 days and nights on guides and I hope I will find a problem soon: d thank you again !!!
