would love to see some lambourghini’s in as well

    1. Cars from TDU 2 – in TDU 2 is no Lamborghini…

  2. what is this program name you use

  3. Freddy Jimmink

    vehicle_TDU.scs

  4. strider1007

SO I put the .scs file in the mod-folder, checked it in my profile and started the game… I see not one TDU car… Thoughts anyone?

  5. I can’t see any of those cars in traffic :((
    they looks very good

  6. I got the solution of problems : the authors made the vehicle not appeared in-game.
Link of link with all picture of car & unlocked car in-game : http://www.mediafire.com/?f88c6gcwazcla16
(WARNING : don’t play with every vehicle unlock = crash)
to make vehicle not appeared in-game, go into the file and add # on front of “@include” of car.
when you done, add the file here : vehicle_TDU.scs\def\vehicle

    1. strider1007

      So this is a bull-#### mod…

      No cars in-game as advertised.

      Waist of time…

      1. I think this mod is to big for mine computer specification 😐

  7. Can you upgrade for Scandinavia mods?

  8. @strider1007
I presume you don’t know Russian language though that doesn’t allow to be a #### and hate everything you won’t understand. Just look what Willy wrote for you and try to make the cars to appear. The author advises there are only 63 car models can be enabled at a time and 27 of them are default SCS models so pay attention to the count. Note this mod is not for low or mid performance PCs since all TDU2 models are pretty complex, especially convertibles.

    1. strider1007

Not trying to be a #### (maybe it comes naturally though…)
By BS-mod I meant that it’s not a mod but a manual how to do it yourself… When I download a mod I expect a scs-file that works, not one that I have to make work…
      And No I don’t speak russian… I’m sure I’m not the only one here…

      1. strider1007

I’ll give credit where credit is due.
I was wrong about this mod…

It needs a fair amount of work, but it is worth it…

Some explanation that you need to do a lot of editing yourself in a language other than russian would have been useful !

But in the end the mod works, and the streets or more varied than ever.

Thanks also to Armand for a clear manual.

S I take back what I said earlier, Mea Culpa…

  9. @Willy, I looked into the file vehicle_TDU.scs and see that all cars have # that means the cars dont appear in game … right??
so if i want them to appear I must delete the # of those that I want to appear in game … right ??? ufff

    cheers

    1. Sharp touched me

Yes, any code with a hash (“#”) in front of it is not read. Delete the # before the cars you want to use. Remember there is a limit to how many you can add.

    2. YEAH exactly. when you remove the # front of a car definition path, the car will appear in traffic

  10. Mine configuration of TDU car in traffic :
(every # mean that this car not appead in-game)

I remove every vehicle that i dont know also old vehicle and car that already in the base traffic.

  11. hallo,

frequency 0.2 is settled quite a bit low. Using 0.5 you got nearly the same spawn rate than average AI-traffic.

What an awesome mod. I’ve waited for sooo long to have my beloved 2CV and the beetle running in AI-Traffic. And wonderful that you can choose which one to us and leave the rest out.

    Sharp

  13. Tiago Witt

This “AI” Cars are limited to 63 Vehicles no more.

  14. someone make a working scs please, we are not all geeks here 🙂

    1. Sharp Chronisch

there is a scs file inside the folder – use 7zip to open it – not unpack search for def folder inside and use editor like notepad++ to change it.

  15. hello I did as you said but its not working my dear are what someone has a solution

      1. people, step by step instructions please, tried everything, does NOT work.

  17. ok, got it.
This is how it’s done: 1. open the scs file with 7zip. 2.There look for the folder DEF then VEHICLE, open it and edit the file traffic_storage.TDU.sii. Open the file with notepad and delete the # in front of @ of every car you WANT to keep in the game.
IMPORTANT after you have done the steps above go to the folder COUNTRY, enter the country you want, open AI folder and modify the FREQUENCY in the car file from 0.01 to 2 or what ever, the higher the number the more frequent it will appear in the game. For instance you can make the 2CV appear more often in France and not at all in other country’s.

    1. Sharp Chronisch

Yes. Glad it works for you now^^.

Problem is, that every user is experienced in a different way. I for myself tought it to me by reading thousends of blogposts and learning by doing. Trial and error. Hundreds of hours.

And then you have users that want all delivered on a silver plate in 10 seconds.

y know what I mean. Guess what unfriendly whining but guessing PNs I got in german forums.

    2. cardhu1963

Thanks, this explanation helped a lot !.

I do have a problem getting some cars to appear. I uninstalled the mod, and reinstalled it and tried to get a ferrari or a ruf(porsche) not exceeding the total amount possible. But no cars appeared. Un- and reinstalled again, tried the beetle, the 2cv and the 300SL and they were there…
      Any thoughts on that?

  18. still no luck here with getting the cars to show in game..nothing i do seems to work. done everything on this site and still no luck..running 1.4.8

    1. As armand has pointed out, the frequency for each car has to be changed in as well.
It is tedious and time consuming but this is more than likely why people are not seeing the cars in game. The mod is there and working but the default frequency is very low so you don’t see any changes.

I’ve just got this working and it is brilliant!!!

Just be careful with the frequency values otherwise you’ll end up surrounded by Ferraris and Zondas! -unless that is what you want of course…

Big thanks to the author for this mod though, Cheers!
