Originally for ATS. Brought over the pond into ETS2

So I’ve learnt some more Fmod and audio editing and now present my 2nd mod.
A Cat 3408 V8 with air start options. Enjoy. I Recorded sounds from my V8 diesel engine

Adjust the engine, exhaust, turbo sliders til you find your sweet spot. the exhaust slider makes noticable change in sound output. my preference is above

This mod is Inspired by Chris Dinsdales Kenworth aka gm16v149

I used recordings of his air starts and got them into this mod

You have 8 engines to chose from

500hp,600hp,800hp,980hp, each with an air start or normal start option

You also get new sounds when your truck malfunctions and wont start

Credits to vsTerminus for the original engine torque curves. He went to alot of trouble to put them together so go show him some love. whole bunch of info there about the 3408 engine. This was done with permission. No sound files from his mod where used.
I have had to modify a few curves and ranges

This engine never left the factory with a jake. it had a brake saver. This engine has a jake because no way I was making a sound mod without a jake, one of the best parts of a truck

Its an “old school” engine so its only fair to be compatible with “old school” trucks. Its hasn’t been put into new trucks for a long time (mid to late 80’s)

Would this engine ever be in a Euro truck. probably not
Will I be going to hell for adding it to Euro trucks. probably

1.39 Cummins N14 Lope Idle Engine
Originally posted to ATS but have added now to ETS after getting myself a copy.

New to ATS(April 2020), new to modding and fmod but here is my first ever mod. An N14 lope engine inspired by mortals outdated 1.36 mod. It not being updated motivated me over the last few days to learn fmod and modding in general and create an engine mod and here it is. Enjoy.
There’s Six engines to choose from a 550hp, 810hp, and 1080hp. Each with a lope an no lope option
(Update) I’ve also added Mortals engine AKA Bald Eagle 1420hp (lope only)

Its Compatible with all SCS both ATS & ETS2 trucks & over 60 mod trucks. to name a few

1.39 Scania V8 Open Pipe Lope Idle

A Scania V8 open engine with lope idle. Its loud and probably failed all emissions tests.
Adjust your sound sliders to suit your preferences. my settings is displayed above.

I Finally just picked up a copy of ETS2, played bout 2hrs so far but i thought I’d bring this sound mod over. I dont have any ETS2 mod trucks yet, when i get them i will add support for them. If you have tips on the good mod trucks leave a link or comment below so I can find them and add support for this sound. Any other good mod tips appreciated to.

We do have plenty of scanias here in aus, but I’ve never seen a pimped out like you guys do it over there

you get 5 engines
520hp, 580hp, 650hp, 730hp, and a 730hp chipped.
torque curves and engine specs taken from Scania brochures available online

I dont have MP ethier so prety sure this mod will not work on truckers MP

Compatible with well over 50 trucks.Mostly trucks from ATS but i see some are here in ETS2 as well. I have no ETS2 mod truck yet. Send Help..
