replacing only the skins has to replace the original trailer and it makes no sense.

I did not do tutoral because I do not like the new trailer owned.
But if you want to create standalone skins and easy enough, (you can download a mod Owner and edit it)
1) you only need to replace only the new name you want to use on all the tobj files (you must use a software for this operation that in ets2studio is fine)
create DDS files (your new skins)
2) go has to change all the definitions with your new name, it is the mod should work and standalone.If you have problems repeat a couple of times carefully these steps and you’ll see that everything works.
