Real life economy for ETS2

Real life economy for ETS2

Real life economy for ETS2

[WARNING] This mod is not recommended for players with low stress resistance.

This mod adjusts your net in-game income to realistic values. As an employed driver, your monthly earnings become 1500–3000 euros. As an owner-operator, you will earn between 1500 and 6000 euros per month. The mod is balanced to give you an average income of about 4500 euros per month, excluding toll roads and ferry fares – in real life, owner-operators usually avoid such routes. Hired drivers bring in approximately 1500+ euros per month. Buying your first used truck (or paying off its loan) will take about 200 hours of real time.

The game’s economy has been completely rewritten (324 cargoes were manually rebalanced), recreating a real-world system for evaluating delivery costs. The payment for a trip depends on the fuel that will be consumed for the delivery. The influence of skills has been reduced to realistic values.

Garage prices have been reduced to 8000, and upgrades are nearly free. I am looking for someone to create a garage model that looks like an empty lot on a patch of land – in reality, very few people use garages.

The impact of skill levels has been lowered to realistic values. For example, level 100 now gives only a 10% payment bonus instead of 150%(original game bonus), so it doesn’t break the economy. Other skills give a 0.5% bonus per point. Base freight rates for cargo without skill requirements have been increased for the sake of realism.

Driving time without rest has been changed. You can now drive for 8 hours a day, while rest takes 16 hours. Delivery deadlines have been adjusted accordingly.

The banking system has been reworked to realistic values. Loans are issued for realistic terms with realistic interest rates, and maximum loan amounts are limited.

P.S. The mod is in beta testing. I have only driven about 500 hours with this setup myself, so there might be some trouble spots. I am open to all suggestions regarding the mod.
Cargoes from DLCs are priced too low; work on this will continue in the future. Now supported only heavy cargo pack.

Thanks for other economy mod creators, for example ExiaRS, YigitE. If not not for their ideas, i might not have played this game and would have created this mod.
