this mod doesn’t work on 1.3.X version of the game.

in fact, this version of sound has the retarder, but i forgot to set up the level of the retarder sound file…
it will be ok for next release 😉

It works for me in 1.4.12
for the description, it’s a sound mod for 6 in line engines, like the daf. It’s simulates a open pipe sound.
The sound is based from a real daf xf 510.
I am working on some improvements now. a new version will be available in few days. that takes some time.

Hi,
in almost all sound mods you have two folders : DEF and SOUND
download a volvo sound mod, and compare it to mine, edit the text file too, respect the folders order.
try it 😉
there will be an update really next week of this sound, a good surprise 😉

Yes u can use it in an american truck, they often has this kind of sound, a 6 in line with good exhaust sound.
I use it too in my K100 🙂

Thanks for sharing, changed a few things to my liking and using it in a Kenworth T800 now but it’s a great mod for the DAF or any other truck that runs a PACCAR MX.
