DBM Headlights Plus
Stronger, longer-reaching truck headlights – for every truck in the game.
Stock headlights in ETS2 light up very little road at night. Headlights Plus raises the output of every headlight set on every truck, so you can see further down the road and read the corners before you reach them.
What changes
Compared with the stock game (ETS2 1.61):
Low beam aimed further down the road. The stock low beam points steeply at the ground, so it lights up the asphalt only a short way ahead, however far its range is set. The downward angle is now 25% smaller, so the light actually lands further ahead.High beam aimed further too, with the same 25% smaller downward angle, so it lights the road far into the distance.Ambient spill and specular raised too, so the beam also lights the scenery around the road.Standard, xenon and LED variants are all covered.

51 headlight definitions across all base-game and DLC trucks: DAF XF, XF Euro 6, XF 2021, XD, XF Electric · Iveco Stralis, Hi-Way, S-Way · MAN TGX, TGX Euro 6, TGX 2020 · Mercedes Actros, Actros 2014 · Renault Magnum, Premium, T, E-Tech T · Scania R, Streamline, R/S 2016, S 2024E · Volvo FH16, FH16 2012, FH 2021, FH 2024.
Also includes blue and yellow headlight variants for the DAF XF.
Compatibility
Works with any map, and with or without Lighting Nova. The two don’t edit the same files, so they stack.Conflicts with other mods that edit the same headlight files. Whichever one is higher in the load order wins.Safe to add or remove at any time.
Game version
Built and tested for Euro Truck Simulator 2 1.61.x. It may also work on earlier game versions, but those are not officially supported. If you use an older version, test it before relying on it.

Every DBM mod is built to work on its own or together with the rest of the series. Recommended load order (top = highest priority):
