Hi all,
Here’s an alternative sound mod for the very nice Mercedes 1632.
The sound files aren’t from me, and i don’t know from where they are
coming, i guess they come from an old SCS software american trucks
game.
I made many modifications on them, especially to make a different
sound from inside and outside.
It sounds realistic for the V8 – V10 Mercedes Benz old trucks.
Enjoy !

my version 1.8.2.5 but doesn’t work :S

Hi all,
To avoid problems or mods conflits, i took the version 2.0 and added my sound inside, so, it’s now an all in one (sound included in the truck).
Do not need another sound mod to work.
It works fine on 1.8 or 1.9 version of the game.

Hey Kriechbaum 🙂 Can you make realistic engines and gearboxes? And fix the speedo a little bit 🙂 Cause it seems you know a lot about trucks and it would be nice to fix this truck and make it a proper one 🙂

Yes here it is :
Based on the V2 of the truck (available on this site)
changelog :
-added 2 new gearboxs (16 gears)
-corrected the name of the truck in the game
-corrected values of the engines with the names
-green zone on the tachometer nows starts at 1200~1300 rpm like in reality
-speedometer is accurate now
-my engine sound is included

And notice that max torgue in this engine was 1850 rpm per minute.
