Chris45 Trailer Pack – Safe Cargo Compatibility for ETS2 1.60
This patch is designed to be loaded ABOVE the original Chris45 Trailer Pack.
It whitelists only trailer jobs that do not depend on the obsolete separate visual-cargo system removed/changed in newer ETS2 versions.
Included: 156 Chris45 freight-market trailer definitions.
Included cargo definitions: 216.
Container trailers and unusual loads that are built into their trailer/chassis model are retained.
Excluded: lowloaders, flatbeds and other jobs that attach separate cargo models, plus any trailer whose cargo_model_match still injects a separate cargo accessory.
The old standalone Chris45 1.39 fix is not required by this patch if your main pack already contains the same definitions.

This is not an update or a fix.
It has not been adapted to the new SCS cargo system, and that is the problem.
I remember that the Chris45 trailer pack is such an old mod that it doesn’t even have the old trailer cables.
That mod would require many hours of work to adapt because of the huge number of models it contains. It’s not just a matter of changing a simple DEF file….

I’m painfully aware of it not being complete – I simply wished to use the “decent” enough trailers with no cargo models to be in my game without the endless empty lowloader cargoes
therefore i made this partial fix which keeps the trailers i deemed relatively okay to use – even if the models arent great –
sadly my skills dont extend into model work – but if you’re able to revive the pack in it’s full glory i believe a lot of people (including myself) would be extremely happy to get it going again!

Hey there, hope you’re doing well. I downloaded the v1 compatibility file, but it was still the same—loads weren’t showing up in the freight market, and the trailer appeared empty when I picked it up. Then you released v2; I downloaded that, but now the game crashes in the freight market when I go to the company to pick up a load. I hope you can fix it—your mod is awesome, and I really miss playing with it. Thanks for the work—cheers!

Thank you for commenting, the v2 compatibility file has to be loaded directly above Chris45. Please know the original mod pack needs to be the latest version (provided in description)
Hope this works! Freight Market should not crash (it even doesn’t without my fix / only chris45 pack)

Thank you for thinking of and bringing back the Chris 45 trailer pack after so many years.
It’s a very great trailer pack; however, as you just mentioned, this another compatibility link has reduced compatibility with some trailer packs. I really like to see All trailers pack for Chris 45.
We really appreciate you doing a complete update of the Chris 45 trailer pack.

A complete rework would take incredible amounts of time and sufficient blender/3d modelling work to be done.
unfortunately im not able to do such tasks as i am not experienced in any way with modelling or even the tools themselves.
i hope you understand – I mostly made this fix for myself because i love the chris45 pack and felt like i could at least fix the trailers that dont require model work.

it has since been resolved but i had to make a new file, please use this one!
