Hi all,
V3 of my cummins engine sound ready for the 386.
This mod contains :
-My new sound Cummins V3
-A 18 gears box
-The 750 Hp engine has a little bite more torque now, usefull for very
heavy haulages.
-a working tachometer
I want to say a special thanks to my friend Julien, who helped me find
the sources of the engine’s sound.

the front of the truck is soft .. sound is good … it is possible the truck in the shop in another place / he is in conflict with the Freightliner_Classic / Kenworth W900L V1.5 Cummins Kriechbaum ….. regards and thank you ..

Thank you everyone.
I do not use the Classic Freightliner, since the FLD 120 is available. The FLD 120 works fine with the 386.
Also, remove the “ZZZzzz” of the name’s mod of the W900L.

Yes, i remember this too.
I saw a few videos that were showing 387 instead of the 386. And they are pretty similar. The differences are really small.
But, the essential in this, is that i repaired my mistake.
Thing that not everyone is able to do.

I guess it’s a bit like identical twins.
People who haven’t seen them before can find it hard to notice any differences between the two, but to people who are familiar with them, the differences become blindingly obvious.
And yes, it’s good to repair mistakes. That is why I said I was glad to see you had learned that the two trucks are different models.

I will admit, this one sounds a bit more realistic than your other sound mods you’ve made. However I’d change the idle sound and maybe tweak the jake brake because they’re not that muffled. I see these trucks all the time and they sound different in those terms. They have a way stronger turbo whistle but then again ETS2’s sound can only do so much. That and the airbrakes don’t sound the same.

I live in the US, these trucks are everywhere. So it won’t take long for a realistic sound because keep in mind with the air emissions laws here our trucks sound way different than they did back in the 80’s and 90’s. I think you’ll like the sound mod coming from me.
A truck engine, in europe or in the US, is and always will be an engine. Only the muffler do the sound. I am aware (i drove many trucks during 12 years) that due to pollutants regulations, the STANDARD trucks have a muffled engine sound. BUT, and i think you know this, you can always change the muffler to another one.
Here in europe have drastic regulations, but, you can hear a lot of trucks with open pipes sounds.

Do not tell me that is the standarts truck engine sound. This truck is not old, and respects the EURO 4/5 regulations with AD-blue. Just the muffler has been changed.
