AMAZING! 🙂 This is the type of quality that I hope to see in the Peterbilt 387 one day. Nice looking textures, interior, exterior. It’s a good mod, but it’s needs a quality boost like this one. Keep it up!
Maybe that Onixer reads this and will fix the problems on the 387?

well its definately improving each time a version is released.

the only mising texture i could find is when you are In the paintshop and using the interior cab veiw if you look behind yourself you can see through the back of the invisible sleeper cab area..
anyway this is still a great improvement over the last two versions ..
and even better that the skin is unlocked so with some patience some great skins for this truck could be made ..
sadly no template to work from so it will all be trial and error re-skinning .but still very possible.
does anyone know of a way of speeding up the steering responce ?, as the truck still takes quite a while to trun form lock to lock ..perhaps 15 to 25% faster and the truck could manage those really tight corners a lot better ..rather than the stop start turning waiting for the steering to respond to input..

Doubt it would do you much good Steve,
i have already spent a few hours trying it, based simply on using the existing color dds in the trucks folder
and working from the existing color dds as a base
any text based logos added look fine on the left side of the truck ..but are a total mess on the right side ,,they end up inverted / backwards . fliped and even different sizes ? why this is i can only hazard a guess its a side product of a bad conversion process of the model from whatever prior game version via zm3 to convert it to use in ets 2
so a template would be helpfull but it would still be a pain in the #### doing a proper paintjob on this truck
Can you tell me if it would be possible to make the truck just a solid color from the paint shop you know like without the decals on it. Just a stander paint job. I am new to ets2 I have been around Farming simulator for a long time but know nothing about opening these mods. Please if you could give me some idea I would greatly welcome it. Thanks
Instructions to remove the America-themed skin and have the truck a solid colour.
You need knowledge and correct programs to open the .dds file.
You need to open up and edit “color.dds” (vehicle\truck\iveco_petr379) by painting over everything so the image is now pure white.
If you just try and delete colour.dds you will end up with a pink truck.
Also do this process for color.dds (vehicle\truck\iveco_petr379\interior) if you use interior view or skin will still be viewable on the hood.

how do i open this mod please explain in very simple terms as I’m not very good with things like this
with winrar you extract the .scs file to
C:\Users\your user name goes here\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod

It makes my game crash , so I have delitet it again . If i tryed to move the truck from one garage to another than i was told that i had no truck , tryed 5 times and every time the game crashes , than i delited the mod again .
Some mods don’t work with the truck, i was bussy whole day and still haven;t find it out,
Also the truck is not skinnable, get srange things when i skinned it,

I removed the truck because of it crashes my game constantly, not because it is bedly done, it is a beautifull baby!
I hope that the bugs will get pou in v1.xx or v2.xx and that is skinnable!

It’s a great mod….but the machine only 530HP and non changeable skin only the color, can make a mod for skins and machine power.

Thankyou Onixer =]. Working fine for me (with +30 mods). If it’s crashing your game it is probably conflicting with another mod you have installed or it’s not compatable with your version (patch) of the game.

You said yourself you couldn’t even manage to reskin this truck yourself. You are obviously incapable of even the most basic modding so you shouldn’t be criticising others work as they are obviously far more talented than yourself.
Do the side steps still stick out wider than the fenders on this version? It was one of the main things needing fixed.
its a great mod but i cant seem to find trailers with propaine if that can happen it would be much apreicated

Nice truck but once it has a load of 20T this thing struggles to do 20kph up some hills.
It needs more than 560BHP. Otherwise nice rig
