I’ve finished the update of the Scania V8 sound mod.
What’s new in it?
-Improved low and high revs’s of the sound.
-Updated definitions for the retarder in the new patch 1.30+
-improved air brakes sounds, tires/bearings sounds, wind sound in cab.
The sound mods is available in two variants:
-One version is the Turbo air gear shifting, this means when you go off throttle you have a loud air turbo sound and no sound when you just shift a gear.
-The second one is for the Opticruise shifting sound.(The one i use in this video).
This sound mod is working with SCS Scania R and Streamline trucks, RJL “R”2.2.2, “T” 2.2.2, and the 6.5 Scania V8 Megamod.

No sound for next gen?
Amigos requiero su ayuda ya que cuando instale este mod y ingrese al juego note algo raro con el sonido de el motor en el interior de la cabina y con los audífonos note que el sonido ya no es parejo osea se como que se corta provocando un volumen normal al lado derecho o oído derecho y más bajo en el lado izquierdo o oído izquierdo pero lo que me extraña es que el sonido de los intermitentes y el freno de motor, además de la música de el juego en general si suena normal, lo mismo desde cualquier vista fuera de la cabina.
Reseño que tengo otros juegos y también el american truck y no tengo problemas de sonido.
gracias por la ayuda que me puedan dar ya que es molesto y hasta ensordecedor jugar así.
it doesn’t mention nextgen scania’s R+S in the discription, so obviously these trucks don’t work with this mod people!
No, but fortunately, you can change your mod to work with Scania S yourself, when there are no others who will make a simple addition to the new gen scania
Great sound… but i have no idea.. i can’t hear the reverse sound in scania next gen…even the original sound..i was open the sound file but nothing happen.. can you help me..?
The sound is too small, my AI ambient sound is much louder than the engine sound!
