All bullbars, lowbars and roofbars change colour. They adapt to the base colour of the truck.
It works on all trucks, not just Scania as in the pictures.
Keep in mind that exhaust pipes also change colour. This is an unwanted issue that I’m unable to fix at the moment.

is it only me that not can get it to work?,I use truckshop,could it be that?
Bart does this work on Scania T-model too??
This mod only changes the .mat files of the chrome texture so it uses a white texture that’s repaintable.
In other words, it replaces the material of every default bullbar, roofbar and lowbar. If you can place those on a truck to begin with, the mod should work.
On the other side, some other mods (especially TC Megamod and “Scania Bottom V2”) use some of these textures so you may need to tweak those files if you can. If you can’t, well, that’s bad luck. I simply don’t have the time to make 10 different versions that work with 10 different other mods 😉
You can also try to put zzzzzzz’s in front of the modname so it overwrites every other mod.
With so many poorly made mods around at the moment, modding a game is no longer simply putting a file in a folder anymore. If you want to use many mods together you need to know what the issues may be and how to fix them.
For example, the game has a chrome texture at the location “vehicle/truck/upgrade/shared/upg_chrome.dds”, but still I come across mods that contain an exact copy of that file, only in a different location or path. This confuses the game so mods don’t work together.
This is way I think it would be best that modding would be limited to a certain group of people. But then the whole modding community would lose it’s purpose.
