Good day everyone) I want you to submit my Sweet FX settings, which
were made for myself, but I decided to post them. They are
compartible with graphic mods and even supplement them. These settings
change the graphic radically. If you do not like them, or your
graphics were better and so on, this one is the final configuration
and is not subject to alteration. If you wish, you can manually edit
it according your needs.
Pluses of my settings:
— Improved smoothing FXAA and SMAA;
— Higher clarity(Sharpen);
— Optimally configured brightness and contrast;
— Completely redesigned rendition that makes picture in the game
very photorealistic;
— Carefully adjusted saturation, bloom and curves.
Installation
1.Unpack the entire contents of the archive in the folder with .exe
file, for example, D/Games/Euro Truck Simulator 2/bin/win86
2.You must (!) disable MLAA and color correction.
3.Enjoy the game!

Sorry, I dont understand
1. Backup your ETS2 bin
2. Before you copy the files into your bin start ets2 and disable MLAA and Color Correction
3. Copy all files into your ets 2 bin C:/program files (X86)/Steam/Steam Apps/Common/ETS2/bin/bin_x86
4. Open SweetFX_settings.txt in your bin and where it says define USE_CARTOON set to 0 and define USE_VIGNETTE set to 0. Scroll down to LumaSharpen settings this will fix blur and pixel clarity.
#define sharp_strength set to 0.30
#define sharp_clamp set to 0.035 which is ets2 default.
Thats it everything should be crisp and clear
There are two SweetFX_settings files. There’s one inside the SweetFX folder. And how do I save the changes? Should I overwrite save it? If I do it, there’s a message saying “Access denied” kind of stuff.

Best graphics mod I have ever seen no problems at all simply the best and works on 1.9x. One thing to note is to open the SweetFX_settings.txt and where it says #define USE_VIGNETTE set to 0 instead of 1 this takes the dark border edges of your screen.

Mod – Route Mini adviser.
My screen flickers like hell and i have 10 fps with this sweetfx.
Its not my hardware, i have a good pc with 3 monitors.
I removed old sweetfx files and put your, still i can`t run it.
I have a homemade PC
Intel core2 duo
4g ram
ATI 7770 graphics card
1 monitor
I have NO lag or fps drop, so i think you made have a mod conflict or something else going on, but it is NOT do to the mod.
I have a weird problem with my writing. It seems fuzzy and blurry. Any ideea?
You need to open the SweetFX_settings.txt and where it says #define USE_Cartoon set to 0 because it affects pixel sharpening that will give clear pixels and text with no blur I say to everyone using this mod to do the same
I too have the blurry letters and numbers, i think it is do to OVER saturation. You can adjust this in the files somehow i think. But yes i know what your talking about too.

how to adjusting the brightness, contrast?
I’ve done some fine tuning and have found that the pixel sharpening and pixel sharpening strength was too high making everything look pix elated and some what blurry.
Open SweetFX_settings.txt in your bin
Go to LumaSharpen settings
#define sharp_strength 0.65
#define sharp_clamp 0.035
This will fix your pixelation and blurr
also if you haven’t already under “choose effects” set Cartoon to 0 and VIGNETTE to 0. Cartoon Interferes with SMAA, CRT, Bloom, HDR and Lumasharpen.
Help on how to get it to work ?
Great mod! But I still find jagging in the dashboard and the numbers and letters in on the dashboard aren’t clear compare to MLAA. Can you tell me where do I edit the setting because I want to full-throttle the AA 🙂

This will fix your dashboard numbers, I had the same problem its just because the pixel sharping is too high so use these default settings designed for the game. If you haven’t already under “choose effects” set Cartoon to 0 and VIGNETTE to 0. Cartoon Interferes with Lumasharpen this will cause jagging on the dashboard numbers so disable Cartoon
On what key to make a screenshot?
Р.s. Prt Scr and End not help in the folder with the .exe file, they are gone

It looks great in game. But when I take a screenshot with the photo editor the colors are not the same, it’s like as if the sweetfx were not on. Does anyone have a clue what’s the issue?
I tried to take screenshot with sweetfx assigned key, but I cannot find any file in the folder. Any idea for that?
You should use Fraps or Bandicam
Thanks Mate. I tried already Fraps, but the issue with that is I lose the capabilities of the Photo Mode of rotating and zooming. I know that there is a fly camera (0), but that doesn’t give the same quaility of picture for some reason (it is much brighter). Any idea why that could happen? Do I need to change something in the SweetFX settings to have the same effect?
Or do you know if I can remove somehow the panel in the Photo Mode? Then I could use that bit and have nice shots.

How do we install this? I have x64 system so I took the two .dll files in that folder and put them directly into my bin folder. did I do it correctly? I didn’t really seem to change anything…
