This is my first sound mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2. I can say it is in a beta version but i decided to share it just to know what you think. it works with default scanias, RJL scania and scania v8 by Bogdan. I hope you like it.

Stand alone engines + sounds for mod compatibilty
This mod allows u to still save the stock sound or
use and other sound mod that Copies the stock sound.
This doesnt work for all trucks.
Stand alone trucks use there own scripts there for i reworked
the stock scripts.
If u use a sound mod it can conflict and u will be able
to choose 1 or adjust compatibility.

If u have a scania truck where the sound does Not work on, let us know so
we can add it to our next update !

Add the mod below the stand alone trucks to make it work.
Streamline compatibilty requirs u to merge the s_equip and c_equip scripts to make it work.
Created reworked scripts for the stock sound of stand alone trucks 143m , 124l

I was forced to add stock sound scripts for the 143.
To make it work i needed to define the sound to the engines i want.
The scania.143m exterior and interior folders include reworked scripts.
but the sound remaind the original
To make sure the sound works on the 143 u must add this sound mod below the truck itself or it wont work..
to bring mod lower in the list add zzzz_ infront of the name, the more zzz the lower it drops in the list..

Compatible with other scania sound mods
Yes but i noticed for streamline scania u might be needed to set a suitable command line in the s_equip and c_equip to make sure the game overreads it.
Meaning u need to merge the sii from both mods.
u can find the folders def/vehicle/truck/scania.streamline/..here are both equip folders
if u use other sound mods.

if done some attempts to add custom sound data but wont work like i want it to.
This is a new sound wich the game does not let me
add new data so i could tell the game when the sound must become active.
therefor this sound can play while standing still aswell
and it not the way it was planned to be.
unfortually this is the only way i found to make it work.

Even tho its not perfectly as i want it, i left the sound in the mod..
because when u drive it, the sound is really fun .. i think . that why i made it …

Saved older version aswell
this mod includes all versions 1.0-1.2-1.3

With this mod im trying for something new…
this is my First attempt of the sneepels v8 scania sound
see the video how it sounds in game..
Best played with Manual shifting so u can really enjoy the whole rpm ratio the engines deliver
ive added some special sound effects to try to simulate as
real as possible but i have some limitations to convert it in a propper way to the game.

To really make the engine rumble, hold it just above 2400rpm.
It will make the nice clapper sound. u have to be under some Load to make that sound work.
when not underload the Rpm on throtle will go to fast and it will activate the Rev sound at 2490rpm.
Rev it in burst or just hold the throttle..will change the revving sounds.

This mod is also completly stand alone ( becides the fact it needs a truck to work)
Stand alone ? u keep your original sounds aswell and
if u allready use a scania sound mod just add the sneepels mod and both sounds will work depending on what engine u choose…!!
it has it own engines and sounds and will not inflict any other sounds mods.
