This mod is a winter version of Physics 6.1. It works the same as 6.1 but this winter version has some extra features for driving in snow:
(This mod does not provide snow, you need a separate snow mod)

NEW FEATURES IN WINTER EDITION:

1. Wheel slip when turning at high speed (you should experience a lot of under-steering from 80 kmh and higher)

2. Slower acceleration rate due to the wheel slip.

3. Slower hill climbing due to the wheel slip.

GENERAL USER INSTRUCTIONS :

For the general user instructions (set up) please refer to Physics 6.1 page as below.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS WINTER EDITION:

1. This is not an add-on, this is a main physics mod, that means you have to disable any other main physics mod.

2. This mod is compatible and can be used along side with my Air Ride mods (the Air Ride must be higher).

3. This mod must be higher than truck mods (if any).

4. When climbing hills, you are highly advised to use manual transmission. Otherwise auto transmission will get you stuck on the hill.

5. It is recommended to use together with my “Alive Traffic Snow Edition” mod to simulate real life snow traffic.

LIMITATION & FUTURE PLANS

As we know that SCS’s physics is very old and outdated. So there are 2 major things that are currently impossible to do in the game but i am testing to make them occur in the game.

1. Drifting
2. Tire burning

Hopefully, my next physics mod will be named “Momo’s Physics 7 Drift & Burn !!!”

This Real Life Physics Snow Edition is excactly the same with its normal edition. But this Snow Edition adds slipperly effect on the roads at a realistic level (not too much like other mods). So you use only one edition at a time. (Disable the other edition).

HOW IS THE SLIPPERY EFFECT ?
It simulates realistic snow covered roads. If you are familiar with driving snowy roads in real life and drive cautiously as you would drive in real life, you should be fine. But if you have never driven on a snowy road before, here is my advice:
1. You cannot take a tight curve or make a turn at 90 km/h any more , your truck will skid and if you have no experience your truck will spin.
2. It takes longer distance to break or stop the truck.
3. Do not turn rapidly, do turn smoothly.
4. Climbing hills is no problem, but it may be slower than in summer.
5. Do use engine break, retarder and trailer break when appropriate, they are now your best friends.
6. Be careful not to apply too much throttle especially when turning or taking curves.
7. Now it is worth upgrading your tyres if you want better grip and more speed. But if you want to feel the slipperly effect fully, don’t upgrade your tyres.

Instructions
There are 3 downloads, Parts 1 & 2 make up default Frosty, it’s not important which order they are in but they should be given a high priority in Mod Manager. If you are using the Heavy Winter addon place it above Parts 1 and 2 in Mod Manager. All files are extracted so just download and place them in your mod folder.
